This is my problem. It must be simple it is right in the FAQ at the 360 mods forum, but no one there answers.This is how it is stated on the other forum FAQ.

*Q: I'm trying to flash with Maximus 2.3 but I get an error saying drive not detected - I can see it in Windows though?
A: Move the X-LG folder to your C: drive and run it there. There are DOS programs that need to run and they don't like long-named directories.

Where do I find the X-LG folder? Hope someone can help?

The firmware that you downloaded was most likely a zipped file, after unzipping, you get the "X-LG" folder in it.

if it is 78 you need maximus firmware toolbox 4.0 you can't use the old method with that drive. goto device manager, cd\dvd drives, and right click the 78, goto properties, volumes, then click populate, that should do the trick but remember, firmware toolbox 4.0 or higher.

Thanks guys. Once I moved the folder to the root directory I was done in 3 minutes. Thanks again. This forum always has the answers!! BB
