DVD X Copy is an old story. It's been so long since it's been support that just about anything out there that's relatively recent is probably better. Download a copy of DVD Shrink and you will get everything that X copy offered and more for free.
My two cents on dvdxcopy programs. yes, they can't handle the latest encryptions, and yes the problems are many. but when they work, they produce a better picture quality better than most programs out there.I'm still using the following dvdxcopy softwares: platinum 4038, xpress 321 and platinum 50013 RF. mostly platinum 50013, since it has not ripper, one can back up the files with fabdecrypter or anydvd ripper and then use it to compress, i do it all the time, in my view, it produces as good of quality as shrink with EAC and deep analysis but in much less time. sometimes i use the 4038 or the xpess if the encryption allows it and again, the quality output is great.
PS: yes, dvdxcopy is an old story but, it is a story i'm still using with great success.
I used XCopy for a long time, till it no longer would back up the newer movies, and I got to agree it produced a quality backup. All of the backups I did are still playing years later and look good. Sorry to see it gone.
