I clicked on my icon desktop to use my dvdfab and a prompt came up saying there was a new version of dvdfabdecrypter 4.0.5.5 and I said no to the update because this is how I got a virus a year ago when I clicked yes for an update on ripit4me.......so I just want to know if anyone from AD has heard of this update.....I downloaded the new version (beta) when SawIV came out so I wouldn't think another new version has come out that quick.......Thanks ahead of time for your response......

Thank you.....but they said the latest version is 4.0.5.5 from my 4.0.5.1 which isn't even close to 4.0.6.0 that you just told me about so thanks again....they sure come out with new versions quick because on the SawIV thread the 4.0.5.1 had come out on the 23rd of January.......I just don't trust things that just pop up on my pc when I'm not online........once again thanks.....

mumzee, dvdfab decrypter updates at least once a week sometimes more. it all depends on what movies come out with new encryption. its always safe to download no worries there

Sorry guys one more question when I download an updated dvdfab I don't have to uninstall the old one because it just copies over the old one, right? See, I do read the threads LOL

A simple safe effective update notifier called secunia https://psi.secunia.com/ , you can google for more info yourself if your concerned about whether it's safe or not at wikipedia,i never had any concerns about it.

edit: It lists all software installed searches for updates &^ notifies you of what's available, also lets you know what's outdated etc or no longer supported

Here is a free and very good anti-virus remover to protect your computer. Features real time protection which prompts you warnings about websites before you enter and blocks various codes from downloading on your computer. Here is the link:
