hi all

well today i took the bull by the horns
and used chimp2.4 to clone my stock drive
to a new 40GB samsung drive. small i know
compared to what some of you guys have used
but it was laying around and, if it went wrong,
cheap. so what can i add to the tuts already
available on this App. not alot really, this is
for those trying it for the first time and maybe
no one else will have the same minor scare i did.

ok so you got it all hooked up and you have told it
to proceed. my pointer here is it may look like its
doing bugger all at first and infact my screen blacked
out several times (thats what scared the pants of me)
so just press the A button on the pad, ONCE, and the
'dos' window will open back up maybe its not showing
any thing different so stay calm because eventually
it does. mine took about 30 to 40 minutes with lots of
blank screening during and inbetween the different stages
but eventually it finishes, lock the drive and smile
weakly with relief when it boots up. hope this steadys
a few nerves with those about to try it.
