If the game you downloaded came in a bunch of rar folders-Just extract the first one in the series (ie: yourgame.r00) it will combine the other ones automatically and make a single ISO file..
What you have there is a split archive-and the reason for that is because its easier to download several smaller files rather than downloading one big file.

Open one of the files in a plain text editor (like Notepad) and check the first three characters.
.rar files always start with 'RAR'.

Yo, i had the same problem when i started.
(but i tried that and it came up with "warning no archives found") 9 out of 10 times this means that there was a problem with the download of the files, try downloading the parts again or try going to a different place.
I'd give you 2 sites that always work 4 me, but i dont know if we're allowed. If someone could let me know if its OK, Ill give them ^_^

That's a possibility too-You may have an incomplete download...
If extracting the first folder in the series of folders didn't help, then you may want to download it again.
@Valisk-you can give out links to websites such as torrent sites, just not a direct link to individual files that may be questionable.

To be a little more specific, can i give sites that give downloads via megaupload.com?
Im just paranoid because i already made 1 stupid mistake and i dont want to get banned. I mean the guy who corrected me was pretty leniant, but still...i feared 4 my account.

The website, yes...Just not a direct link to the files themselves..
Like www.isohunt.com is ok, or www.pspiso.com is ok, just not www.IamAPirate.com/TheSimpsonsGame.rar

Those kind of sites are always fun-I dont care much for spending two days trying to download a game thats split into five or six parts though...

Lol, true dat!!!
Duke is really good at having the game in just one or wo parts though. Many of the games are already cso files. You can also get great movies and hombrews there.

I'll have to give those a whirl, and maybe use one of those workarounds for megaupload so I dont have to wait X amount of hours until I can download another file.

lol, yeah.
the only reason i havent bothered is because i only wait 16 min btw downloads. And i usally am watching anime while dowloading, so by the time im done with an episode i can start another download.
^_^
Life is good.
also, how does one raise their rank? I'd rather not be a noob forever.
And to the person who originally posted this question:
I hope this has helped you alot!!

Thats a good way to kill time in between downloads-
As far as your inquiry about how many posts you need to beef up your rank-It goes like this:
Newbie to Junior Member -- 25 posts
Junior Member to Member -- 100 posts
Member to Senior Member -- 500 posts
Senior Member to AD Addict -- 2500 posts

My friend had a problem with his multiple winrar files and I found that some of the files were not named the same. The first file was something like simpsonspart1.rar and the next was simpsonspart2_2.rar. I had to delete the (_2) so it read simpsonspart2.rar then it worked. Check your file names and see if they are spelled the same except for part 2, 3, 4, etc. Maybe thats the problem?
