Constant FIFA 08 Online Play Freezing Problems

Hi, whenever i play online on FIFA 08 I find that on the loading screen the loading bar disappears and when the game loads, the score, team name bar and player name bar disappears too. Though this doesnt affect the game play all the time, sometimes this raises the chances of my ps3 freezing and rebooting itself as soon as it press quit game. & if it doesnt freeze then when i pause the match I cant make subs. Its just a blank menu with just my name and opponents name displayed. At the end of the game the game does nothing until i press quit game and again it reboots. This happens every two games (on average). it only happened once or twice when i first got my ps but its got worse.

Also its a 80GB HK PS. My firmware is 2.10 (I Think). Is there any patch or something I can get for it? Please can someone help?
