I heard that you need to do something with the slim and take out some files and put it on the fat psp.

alright i think i figureed it out.
heres the link for the files
http://dl.qj.net/index.php?pg=12&fid=14965&catid=193
but when u run it PICK ONLY 12 colours then say generate, andthen u get ur 01-12 file with the 12 xmb colours u choose.
But i cant find my old 01-12 file to overwrite it, i currently have 3.90m33 so if u figure out (it should be in vsh) then letm me knw. Thanks.

If you're just on about, literally, the default backgrounds, they can be found at flash0:/vsh/resource, the file is called 01-12.bmp

it's actually unbelieveable how easy you guys have it with these new versions and you still don't click to them...
in the OE's we had to fiddle around with VSH/Resource all the time, but now all you do is put files on the memory stick and bam it's done.......
something that goes to ANYONE touching flash0, Back-up all your flash0 files beforehand i dont think i could stand to see another "help i overwrited all flash files to put a theme on and the psp doesn't work now" thread...

I still do it all with messing around in flash0 :) Never even tried a PTF theme or anything, they're rubbish compared to ones with custom pafs etc. Ahhh the good old days of semi-bricks and worrying if your backup will work ^.^ i almost miss the days without Pandora...

yeah i know what you mean, before Pandora.. ^_^ the Flash0 themes are so much better than the PTF's, i tried a few they're not as good.... i miss the OEs too.... they had a few simplified things like automatically detecting POPSloaders.. no need for hunting down plugins and stuff..
custom firmwares were such a breakthrough in PSP firmwares ^_^ let you do anything you ever wanted to do with a PSP.. then they make that slim PSP along with firmware 3.60, introducing everything the hackers had already done a year ago... shows who's better at this kinda stuff.... ^_^

Wow your sig is a bit too large, forum rules;
Quote: 1. Text-only signatures should have at most 5 lines of text.
2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.
3. If you use an animated picture in the signature, it should not be too distractive. Eg. blinking images or images with quick movement are not allowed.
4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.
I'm not a Mod so i can't tell you to alter your sig, just warning you if a Mod catches you...

Well a mod caught it :)
@alexrodri
Edit the sig asap - the images are over the size limit and too many lines of text.

@Trixx_14
You need to edit you sig - the one line is too long and throwing off all the pages that your post in. Make it 2 lines instead.
@alexrodri
Last chance - edit yours asap.

Thanks it was a hidden file. I made the bmp and put it in the Flash0:vsh>resources and it asked me to overwrite it. All came out well except for one color that has a white part on it (it suppose to be black!). Thanks!
p.s.- Great guide!
