I bought a 4GB card, formatted in my PSP; but the music that I added will not play in the PSP (even though it is on the card). Someone was telling me at work that there are folders that need to be created (because there are none in the memory card). This may be a stupid question, but what are they and are they hard to create?? I have a 1GB card that works fine... thanks for any help.

where did you buy the memory card it might be fake

Bought both the 1GB (which was in the starter pack) and the 4GB seperate. The 1GB is a Sony whereas the 4GB is a SanDisk Duo. The 1GB had all the folders installed whereas the 4GB doesn't. do you know if they are hard to make? I am a NOOB and all help appreciated!

just make a folder named MUSIC and copy your music in their note music has to be capitol

Formatting should have created the folders for you. That's odd.

or make a folder PSP folder in ur ms root and then MUSIC folder in ur PSP folder. paste ur songs there.
