I was recently told that since I have a phat PSP w/ firmware 3.90 I cannot play .iso unless I downgrade to 1.5 via Pandoras battery. I would like a detailed explanation on how to do the Pandoras battery. Thankyou.

There is three ways

1. Get a pandora battery with someone who has a custom firmware or 1.5 works fine

2. Hardmod ur battery

3. Buy the DATEL tool battery

Arrg! So in order to do pandoras battery, I already have to have FW 1.50? Damn! Well I heard that Dark AIex has created a 1.50 Kernel for FW 3.90; It it is to my understanding that this will allow the 3.90 to support Homebrew (which runs .iso's). Am l right? What is a kernel anyways?

1.5 kernal is for phat CFW enabled psp to run homebrews

since u have 3.9 u need to either

1) softmod ur battery (get some1 who has a CFW psp to make it for u
2) open up ur battery and cut off pin 5

my (+[__]%) life

2.81 -> 3.71-> 3.71 m33-2 -> 3.71 m33-3 -> 3.71 m33-4 -> 3.80 m33 -> 3.80 m33-2 -> 3.80 m33-4

saddest (+[__]%) moment

i upgraded to 3.71

Well since, I have no friends that have a CFW or a 1.5 FW I guess Ill have to open my battery and cut of the pin. But how exactly do I do this (1) and is it a safe process (2)?
