Please help - Does anyone know how to demux HD container ripped from Dish PIV622 DVR so that the demuxed video and audio can be re-mux in DVD format to be burned?
Typical ripped files from PIV622 include:
bm (1.16K)
cat (560)
tsp (8.9M)
wtt (56K)
Note the small size of the files due to its short duration, less than one minute.
I suspected that the tsp and wtt are video and audio files respectively. Dont know anything about bm and cat. All files have no extension. THNAKS.

This post is in the wrong thread, unless you want to know how to play it on your PS3. :-)

When you say typical ripped files, what exactly do you mean? Are they the files your DVR produces or have you figured out a way to seperate the streams?

VideoReDo could be what you are looking for. It supports a few of the DVR formats. Here's their home page... http://www.videoredo.com/en/index.htm?src=VRD2004-09-08

They offer a free trial, so maybe you can give it a go. :-D

Thank you Ryu77 for your advise.
When I say "typical ripped files" I meant files that are ripped from my DVR and copied to my hard drive. Those files are in raw format of the DVR. I'll continue to look for the right forum to post my message.

No... I didn't mean that you can't post here at Afterdawn. I was referring to the fact that you posted in the PS3 section. There is a dedicated forum section for DVR's here on Afterdawn. Here it is... http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/59

Besides, I gave you a link which might be the answer you are looking for. Did you try VideoReDo? Did it help? :-D
