hey guys

i'm still having problems with my controller freezing up... i know this was a big issue a while ago, and i haven't heard much about it recently.

when i'm playing, my controller will stop responding for about 3-4 seconds....currently i'm playing Burnout Paradise and it does it about once every half hour or so.

i just started playing with a fully charged controller, so charge isn't an issue.

anyone have any new info on this problem?

My guess is that it is a glitch or a bug in the PS3 firmware. See if there are any available updates, as they may contain fixes for it.

I got my PS3 at launch and my controller freezes constantly. I have had every firmware version that Sony has to offer with no change. I have learned to live with it, but I have received several hundred deaths on COD4 that I didn't deserve.

The only possible solution I can offer is to keep your controller plugged in via a cable at all times.

If the reset button dosnt help you should ask Sony to replace it.

This also happens to me with the controller that came with my ps3.... but it doesnt happen with the second controller i bought... my only problem is for some reason when playing cod4 with the second controler the sprint wont work correctly (somthing wrong with the L3 button i guess) so i am forced to play with the origional control which sucks because as mentioned above you get killed alot when you shoudnt because of it freezing... do these remotes have warranties? because at 50$ its pretty crappy when they dont work correctly.

Just called Sony yesterday about it, they were really good about the warranty on the SixAxis.

Only one problem, I gave them the wrong darn email address by mistake that was going to tell me specifically what to put in the box. Can anyone on here tell me what they were told to do? It would be much appreciated.
