Please move this post to the appropriate forum as needed. I am useing a non genuine copy of windows xp. I tried to download wmp11 useing a set of steps from a web site that said I could bypass the MICROSOFT validation page and still install 11. As of now I have a non functional icon for windows 11 on my desktop. By that I mean when I open it the validation screen appears which I cannot pass. I tried to REMOVE the 11 programs useing add/remove program, the pkayer and the runtime program but the programs will NOT remove. Unless I can remove them I CANNOT revert to PLAYER9. The roll back screen appears but the rollback does NOT happen. Should I try SYSTEM RESTORE to revert to an earlier time such as a week ago> Which will revert to P9?
