The IMEI# you have listed looks like it belongs to Cingular. Can you verify that a Cingular sim does not work in the phone?

Cincular (3G) sim is all I have access to and it does not work in this phone, but I do not think 3G is supported by this phone.

Cincinnati Bell sim does work....

At a loss, willing to try a Cingular code to see if it will work.

If your current sim does work, I'll have to stick with that network. The 3G sim from Cingular will work fine if we can get it unlocked.

When you put the Cingular sim in, what do you see on the screen?

Cingular sim - Phone restricted STOP icon - control button = undo..
pressing undo brings up window to enter code.

Ok, don't enter in anymore codes yet, this one has me stumped. The IMEI looks like Cingular but Cingular doesn't work and the network you say does work isn't working for unlocking. Yeah, I'm confused too about this.

I'll get some others to look into it and see what we can come up with.
