I have updated the US version Wii with Family Ski game (Japanese version).
All of the games I have still can be played. But there's 2 more blocks (news and weather in Japanese) on my Wii menu. And I can't connect to the internet anymore for the update. Is my Wii semi-bricked? I have Super Mario Galaxy USA, but it won't prompt for the update when I play it. So Do I need to wait for the Super Smash Brother Brawl USA version update in order to fix my semi-bricked Wii back?
Also some of the Gambecube games I have has no picture only sound, I have tried like every mode (PAL, NTSC, etc.) and I have turned on the REGION OVERRIDE too on the Wiikey config.

Yeah looks like a semi to me m8 - can you access the settings? I'm surprised you can get to the net tho cos I ain't heard that one before (not that I "hear" everything - still learning daily :P)

If settings go it can be a pain but other than that should still be ok.

More details like wii & wiikey firmware would help anybody who has any ideas but SSBB may well be the fix I reckon.

u tried on game with a wii fit board, any problems?

say ERROR no message on some screens and i can't start races...
