i "acquired" 3 games...

all 3 are iso format, i tried burning them with my sony dvd burner at 2x and 4x with nero 7 ultra edition and imgburn and everytime i burn them i put them into my wii and it says it cannot read or detect or whatever. i did get the sonic to make the gamecube logo but when i start it a dialogue box appears that says it cant read it. i am using Playo DVD-R's and a Sony DRU-810A

does anyone know what is wrong? help please!! i am wasting too many DVD's!

Your modchip is what with what firmware? Your Wii is PAL or NTSC, US, JAP or EUR? Your Wii firmware is what?

ppl can't help you if you don't help them by giving as much pertinent info as poss.

have you tried any configuration discs or anything?

If so the only other possible suggestion I can make is to use different DVD-R media. From my experience, people have had a fairly high success rate with TDK and Verbatim (but all Wiis are different, and different media works on different consoles). Generally though, DVD media is trial and error on your console.

Also are you 100% positive that your Wiikey is genuine?

maybe it is the DVD's? the wiikey is genuine i bought it from Modchipcentral and it had the hologram. the Playo Dvds were just some cheap ones on sale for like 5 or 10 bucks i bought them a while back. are those the problem? or is it my burner?

Oh it's Playo DVD-R discs. I use to use those and they never worked. I suggest Verbatim or Sony DVD-R.

I'm with LilNguyen, I use Verbatim and Sony DVD-R, no problems what so ever.

Yeah these brands seem to show the most positive results, but don't dismiss that it could be down to media if they don't work (as I said earlier, it's trial and error)

Try changing the batteries for good quality fully charged ones. Then, resync your Wiimote to your Wii. This seemed to work for me.

@Btard
From the rules:
Case: Discussion about pirated content and piracy, such as converting (downloaded) video and/or audio files to DVD/AudioCD/whatever format. PERMITTED
Personally I would leave out the names :)
