ok so im getting a new PSP soon i got one on US release day but it got stolen.. since then i got a EDTV (basiclly SD with prog scan) with a media sever connected to my tv along with my PS3. my media center has a IR adapter.
now im wondering is it worth getting the fat just for the ir, 1.50 firmware, and metal chassis.
or getting the slim for the mem upgrade (which well become more and more useful as homebrew digs deeper into slim and as "slim only" options are released) the screen upgrade along with tv out and reduced weight.
seeing as ive been out of the psp scene since i got a media center i was hopping some one in my position could tell me his prospective on the subject.

The PSP classic has infrared extra but no use of it >_<
(Excpet that you can use many IR related homebrews apps)

PSP slim does not have 1.50 kernel which makes some homebrews not work >_>
(But now, most of the homebrew apps work on cfw 3.xx too)
And I think 1.50 kernel may be released for the PSP slim ^_^

PSP slim has more RAM ^_^
And you can connect your PSP slim to a TV ^_^
Plus, only the PSP slim has the "Skype" support and not the PSP classic >_<

So, go in for the PSP slim ^_^
