I continue to get error exception at 99% complete in the encoding session on 2 different Factory copies of this disc when trying to encode in DVD shrink. I also tried putting it on my hard drive thru DvDFabdecrypter & it put it there fine, but errored the same when encoding on dvd shrink. Disks 1,2,& 4 of series had 0 probs encoding & nurning.

thanks for any feedback in advance

I spent days backing up all series of this excellent series, i would have used just DVD Decrypter and/or DVD Shrink for the actual ripping.
DVDFab HD Decrypter will also work fine but i'm just posting to say there's nothing funny encryption-wise with this series

I think there was batch of these with a mildly defective DISK 3. I had the same issue with 2 different disk-3's. The defect was mild enough to not piss off most living-room DVD players but was getting picked up by PC DVD drives.

I have backed up all seasons of Six Feet Under with no problems at all. For this specific disc, you can use ripit4me and you should be good to go.
