Wii and Infectus2 (PAL), should i update to 3.1E or keep my 3.0e?

Me and my friend just bought us a wii each ..
We are going to get it chippede with infectus 2 in a few days ..
My friends wii has the 3.1e version alreday whiile i still have the 3.0E version on my wii..

So my question is , can and should be update my wii and will I be abel to get the infectus chip installede and working properly with this new update ??

To be honest as far as I know, it makes no difference whatsoever. (but I have read cases where the Wiikey can go wrong from 3.x firmware, but this should have no relevance to an infectus 2...)
