DO you have a home computer or laptop? If you do and it does the job, save yourself some hassle and 10gb on your PS3 and don't install it. It's a waste of time. And YDL can't do half of the stuff that any pc or mac can do, unless you are a damn computer programmer and want to run code forever......

It doesn't matter if you have a desktop or a laptop, I just want to have linux on the ps3, obviously you can't do same things you can do on a desktop or laptop but if they are not in the same room then I give it a try, and if sony gives us the option for other OS, why not try it?

It's ok. Supertape is just anti other OS. Which quite frankly is retarded. 10gb is WAYYYYYYYY too much space to waste, when you have a PS3.

If I get what you're saying, just power off your PS3 using the switch in the back. Flip it back on and hold down the power touch at the front for about 5 seconds until you hear 2 beeps and you should be ok.
Want to run YDL again? Then just set the default os feature in system settings to other os.

Ya' know, being anti YDL for PS3 is necessarily the same thing as being "anti other os". =P

you can run win 98 or xp through qemu a x86 emu for the cell processor but you can still do more by just using ydl with out any emu's no way any current windows will work because they are not written for power pcs and no current gamming system has enough ram to emulate vista
