I cannot get any config disc or update disc to run at all on my wii. Original wii games and gc games play fine, but not one of the config discs work 1.3 1.2 1.3 hack 1.3 gcoc. None of the update discs will work 1.9b or 1.9g , its really furstrating i've used like 10 DVD-R's already Sony DVD-r's to be exact. Any ideas? I got it from www.modchipcentral.com all the reviews i read about that site said it was geniune i got the hologram and everything, :(
let me add info i forgot, I burned with img burn and i had it updated to 3.1 U before i installed my wiikey, uhh.. i burned at 4x speed like suggested, I even tried burning a 1.9g using file chop instead of the premade ones that they have links to nothing at all will read. =\
I just got my Wiikey from there today,ever thing is great,I did a long wire install cause one of my pads came off the dvd board.Evey Disk works so far I have a mix of between dvd+r games(gamecube)and a few -r's(Wii).So id say the chip is good.If i was you id double check your soder connections with a multimeter.Mine is also at 3.1u by the way.The only thing I havent done was run any setup Disk Just cause I own SMG and I want to be able to play all gamecube backups,plus Im not worried about imports.So hopefully I gave ya some
ideas to look for.And by the way they are real wiikeys.
