when burning in nero 5.5, do i burn in iso level 1 or level 2? It says level one to avoid problems reading the dvd in dos/windows 3.1 but the guide im using says use level 2. I dont want to make a coaster so i dont know which level to choose.

adamryer,

I've answered your posts in several other areas, you have to experiment sometime all by yourself, a couple of suggestions -

1. Use DVD RW media so you won't be so frightened of making a "coaster" (we all have made them, it's not painful)

2. When using a guide, stay with what it says. The person who took his time and made it did so with the intention of getting you from the start to a successful finish.

3. Try several guides and then decide which one you like - that's why there are many flavors of Ice Cream, people have different tastes. Me, I don't like to use Iso, I like to use DVD Video when burning with Nero.

4. Grab the bull by the horns yourself, if you get to a point where things are going wrong, we're here to try to figure out a way to get you back on track.

5. Have confidence in yourself, making a mistake won't cause the world to end, it will just make you smarter, you'll learn where the rocks are -

Again, follow that guide, the guy who spent all that time to make it didn't do so because he wants you to fail - when you have developed several different methods of backing up a DVD, then try combining different guides, hopefully you'll come back and teach us something new -

God Bless, have a Happy Holiday,
