Will my burner burn Dual Layer discs?

My DVD burner is a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H653L 0414 (whatever that means. Now, I can burn things easily enough by shrinking them and putting them onto regular blank DVD's, but I've got the opportunity to use some 8.5 gig dual layer discs to burn, but I'm not sure if my DVD burner is capable of burning onto a dual layer DVD.

Do I need a special DVD burner for this, or will mine work?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, wasn't sure where to post it, if its somewhere else, can you provide a link maybe?)

Thanks alot for the quick reply, I saw that site, but wasn't sure what it all meant. Is it worth it to burn DL? Or should I just stick to shrinking my DVDs?

Use Imgburn with it and use good dl dvd+r ( as Verbatims or 2.4x Riteks ) and with imgburn booktype to dvd-rom for best player compatibility.
