Boot From Memory Card PS2

Hi,
I have a memor32 card which I have the firmware all setup and it boots my backups fine. I have also put ulaunch.elf on it so it will start in dev mode.

Because I can boot disks I have burned can I setup a normal sony 8mb memory card to do the same thing?

Can anybody shed some light on this?

put this in ps2 discussion not psp click on the forms button up at the top then scroll down to game systems and click on ps2 and add this there ok
