hi guys

hope any of you could help me :)

basically, I'm deaf and need subtitle all the time. i need to find the right software that'll rip DVD with subtitle to DIVX. the subtitle must be fixed in the divx movies so i dont have to turn it the subtitle on.

i've tried some software but doesnt work very well :(

once you ripped the dvd with SmartRipper, or any ripper sooftware, you can work the .ifo file with flask, and it gives you the option to convert the file to .AVI with or without subtitles, and it works pretty well. Another software that is very simple and it works great, is the DvdMagic. So far is the easiest and the one that never ever gave me any problems.

Hi kingwes,

the best software to use the Intervideo DVDCopy, it can do mpg1 and divx video with permanent subtitles, you dont have to rip the subtitles or the DVD video, unless if the video are not protected. Its available at www.intervideo.com ... you will surprise how easy it is to use :)

Just use SmartRipper to rip out the vobs.........while you have SmartRipper open there are a lot of options that you can choose from such as (Language Selection) & what language you want your subtitles.

Then after you rip the vobs.........Start up DVD2AVI and convert the vobs to DiVX or XViD.........
