Error message in CloneDvd????

Could anyone shed any light on why this error message comes up in CloneDvd when trying to open Vob file?

" Unable to open Video files from
C:/(location of files)etc video_ts

DvdManager 5 1 IFOFormat 15 "

I cant backup my movie as it wont go any further??
However,you can play the movie on my Pc or Dvd player????

Hi sporty, are you trying to copy a encrypted movie? CloneDVD can't do that by itself. You need ANYDVD to work with it. Anydvd works in background, makes movie region free and decrypts while Clone does the rest. Not sure if this is what you mean.

Use SmartRipper to rip the film to your hard drive then put it through clone it works like a dream.

is your folder that your files are located in called VIDEO_TS in caps?

i was getting an error message with CloneDVD when i didn't have the folder name correct.

Just create a folder in your my documents or where ever you want to save it to you can name it after the film.Then open clone and select the file with the browsers and select the file clone will do the rest.

Thanks for all your replies to my query. I have tried all but one of them and they dont seem to work. The only one I have not tried is using the smartrip. I will give that a go and see if that works???
