help my Magic plus cd rom driver doesnt boot , with scph79001

i just got both dvd and cd drivers in the mail today ...
the DVD disc driver dvd works 100% Perfect!!!

the Cd disc driver cd doesn't boot... i put the Magic 3 plus cd into the ps2 it tries to boot makes alot of noise trying to load ,but doesnt.brings me to memry card screen
..its brand new ps2 slim /silver scph-79001..
it plays cd based ps2 games..
would swapmagic replace the disc or do i just ask the store were i bought it?
also does it load for anyone else here with the same ps2

Yeah, the swap magic cd doesn't load on my 79001 either. I just converted all the cd games to dvds which also helps out the ps2 so it doesn't have to spin so fast. I doubt the disc is defective because my swap magic cd worked on my old ps2.
