I have been trying to copy my own private DVD's using DVD shrink and then burning to DVD+RW using Roxio. I am able to backup to HD both compressing and not compressing but am unable to play it from HD. I tried burning to DVD disk but it won't play. I have tried playing using win dvd and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? I don't seem to have any trouble burning smaller movies less than 4.3 GB using DVD decryptor but can't get the larger ones to read using the other software.

roxio stinks. People have not been successful with roxio. The more successful programs are Nero and recordnow max.
these sites have good guides for those programs.
