I am am backing up some already backed up discs, a.k.a the discs I have are dvd+r's. I have DVD shrink and decription software. The orginial dvds are from China. If you are interested it is like a 25 disc set of all the G1 cartoons plus the movie. The set is on amazon, and yes they are in english. I digress. I have copyed all but 3 discs and they will always get to about 70% analyzing and stop. It moves very slow and takes an hour for it to analyze. If anybody has any ideas I would love to hear them.
It's most likely your discs. Since you don't have the originals, there's not much that can be done. You should be able to copy them without any software.
If they are copies,no encryption, and properly sized-most programs can back them up. But,if those copies were on crappy media, burned too fast, paper sticker label slapped in the,or burned on a crappy burner-then that can cause issues when it's time to re-rip them later.
Gotta make your 1st copy as well as possible. Quality media, 4x-8x burn, quality burner-and no sticker labels.
It prolly is the discs that it was burnt to the first time. My dvd burner is old so it is really not the best out there. I will have to get the orginals i suppose. Thanks for the help.
