Problems with CFW 3.71 m33

Hey I just got someone to upgrade my psp slim to CFW 3.71m33. I've been looking around these forums and others on how to put .iso games on it and have come to this conclusion.

Make a folder in the root directory called ISO then plug it into the computer, put the .io file in the ISO folder. Riiiight?

Well apparently not, it says no games on my memory stick, and I've tried a few different .iso's.

Should I upgrade to 3.71 m33-4 or something? But if so I'd rather just get this version working first

Try formating the memory Stick.

Sometimes creating the directory manually does not work.

Your better off formating the Memory Stick and letting the PSP create all directory's.

Go to System Settings then to format Memory Stick and format it via PSP. Now add the ISO into the ISO folder.

You should also update to 3.71 M33-4.

If they still don't show under Game Menu Memory Stick then there is a possibility you have a fake memory stick. Find out by going to game Menu Memory Stick and press triangle. Then choose information. It needs to say Magicgate supported. If it says unsupported or unknown then you have a fake Memory Stick.

Ok for reformatting do I need to backup any folders? I have all my picturs and music saved so anything else I should make a copy of?

Anything important including game saves should be backed up.

WOOP WOOP THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !!!!

Just a few more questions. Cane i deleate some folders I don't need such as GAME and GAME150 or is it best to leave them as I might need them down the track.

And the VIDEO folder in the ISO folder is taht for .iso movies I'm guessing.

leave them some games require the folders iven if you dont have enithing on theme en as far as size there realli small en yes the video folder in iso is for iso movies
