Hi I have a psp running CFW 3.71 m33 (possibly going to 3.71m33-4). Just a quick question if I get a new memory stick (official sony or not) do I need to make it into a magic memory stick?

no you can update to m33-4 tru the update convert your memory stick only if you going to 3.80m33-5 convert before upgrade in case of a brick

you only need to make a magic memory stick if you going to create a jigkick battery (pandora's), you can update by simply downloading the file off here
http://www.dark-alex.org/ and dragging and dropping them to the folder indicated in the readme.txt included in the download

Sorry I think my question got confused. (Although I did get some answers)

Ok so, regardless of what FW im using, what happens when I get a new memory stick. Can I run iso's off the new one of will I have to reformat the ms?
