Hi there,
I am trying to burn DVD's using DVDFab HD Decrypter, and DVD Shrink 3.2, but after the disc burns, the film is shuffled like a deck of cards, the start of the film is at the end and the end of the film is at the start. Am not sure what is going wrong or if its a VISTA issue. Would love some information on this problem. I have Roxio 9 and Nero 8 installed.

There have been some problems others have been experiencing when using Nero 8 (I still use 7 and it works great), like playback issues. I suggest you try having shrink create an ISO image file (.iso) and save it to the hard drive, then using a free app called imgburn, you can burn the image file to DVD.
Note: imgburn can also create an image file from video files that should be loacted in the VIDEO_TS folder using its build mode.

Hey johnl123
which software do you think it's better between imgburn and dvd shrink ?
And what's the difference between the iso image burn and the "back up " burn option you can do with dvd shrink?

Just in case John is not around...
You can't compare the two, ImgBurn and DVD Shrink. Is like comparing apples with...hammers...two different things for two different purposes.
DVD Shrink authors/shrinks/transcodes the DVD, and then ImgBurn takes over and burns to disc. The only similarity is that both can create an ISO from a DVD folder. That's about it. Well, also both can rip a DVD, but it would have to be unencrypted for ImgBurn and older encryption for DVD Shrink.
The "back up" option in DVD Shrink means that it will proceed with the transcoding, and when done, the burning software that you have installed, and have selected it(Nero or ImgBurn), will start the burn. Unless you save the compilation to hard disc as an ISO or DVD folder and burn later.

@Cyp
Apples vs Hammers? Wow , what a comparison. Even in English 101 in college,I never saw that comparison made in the EU.However, you definitely made the point!

Well, I though about apples and oranges, but they have too many similarities( both fruits, edible, can be made into juice...:~)!)
Similarities between apples and hammers...I guess both can be used as...flying weapons, maybe!!!

@ Chrism2,
This is by no means a Vista OS issue. This is, indeed, a technical hitch between DVD Shrink and Nero 8. Follow the alternatives presented to you by johnl123 , and everything will be in line.
