XBMC won't work disconnected from the PC!!!

Hi

It's been a while now that i've been having problems with xbmc working on my xbox, sometimes it did work, sometimes it didn't

Today i took the time to re-install xbmc and i noticed the following:

I FTP'ed all the xbmc files to the xbox,
next i started it and it works fine, from the evox main menu.
if i disconect the ethernet cable from the pc or xbox, and i power on the xbox.. it goes to evox menu, i select applications, xbox media center, and it won't start!

I thought it was a coincidence so i ftp'ed the xbmc files to the xbox several times, and everytime i try to start it with the cable disconnected it won't start, only with the ethernet cable plugged in the pc

Hope someone can help
