Lo all

1) Ive decided im gonna take my modded xbox online, its a benq with iextreme 1.3, it has no wireless router but it is sitting ontop of my desktop pc, can i get a ethernet cable and plug it in from my pc to my xbox? how would i set my pc (which is connected via wifi) to connect to my xbox via software?

2)how can i check the my discs are in top condition to play online? is there any new softare that checks for bad discs that can tell you?

3) also can you play online with just a silver account? ive found places that give free silver account for like 3 hours each but theres no stop to how many times you can get one

1. you should update to 1.4, there are a ton of guides to show you how to share a connection.
if it was me i would try google or look at xboxlive website.

2. the ixtreme firmware wont play them if there not stealth.
if you use a samsung drive flashed with kreon firmware then you dont have any problems.
if you are downloading games then your on your own!!!

3. no you cant.
you need gold to play omline but you can get one by starting a new account and sign up for silver and it will give you 30 days gold.
some people say you can only do that for a limited amount of times, but i have done it at least 7 or 8 times for some of the guys that come over to play.
the bad thing is you lose all your stats unless you buy gold after 30 days, but it works great if you have your own account and you dont want to sighn your friends in as guest.

The only thing I can add is that the latest for the benq is 1.41.

I'm sure you know fudpucker, just don't want JadeFox to get confused is all. :)

as you can tell im dead cheap.

i was just hoping you could explain how to get the 30 free trial of gold account, i dont really understand what you mean, could you please expand on it?
