The only DVD player I know that will play copy DVDS without any problems is a Pacific from ASDA which will cost you no more than £30

I have tried different types of players with no joy deff get a pacific.

KMAC.

Divxtodvd is obsolete.. you should try dvd flick

Why are you using fixvts? if these files are avi files and you are authoring the disks yourself there is no need for that whatsoever.

You also have no need for shrink, unless you are messing up your disk authoring by setting the output format for dvd-9.. You are doing about 5 steps too many.. you only need to do any of that if you are ripping a commercial pressed copy protected dvd.

Simple way.. dvd-flick and imgburn will make this pretty much a one click process

@kmacdon.. If you needed to buy a really cheap and nasty player for your burns then you should seriously consider the brand and quality of dvdr you are buying. TDK 16x dvd-r by any chance?

Hi,
So far i find convertxtodvd is the best for converting any video to dvd and will be good long term as it allows dvd authoring and seems the quickest. Nero 8 is also very good.Hope this helps
