To Alls,


I have an old original PS2 console. I want to install my regular pc hdd 160gb on PS2 console.

Please help me out. What do I need software to format hdd?
I want to copy games to hdd and plays games from hdd.
I want to play dvd movie without using remote controller. I want using hand-held controller to play dvd movie.

Please give Links to download files or web link to order stuffs for my needs.

WinHiip is used both to format the hard drive to a PS2 format AND burn the games to said hard drive. I don't have a link, but that's what Google is for. :)

You're also going to need to modify your PS2 in order to get it to recognize the hard drive; I prefer the soft-mod method known as the Memory Card Exploit. You need AR Max, a PS1 game, and this guide.

As for the DVD playback thing, you can play DVDs from the controller. X is enter, D-pad to select options, and Select for a playback menu.
