I'm reposting a question that never got answered. I'm in the process of extracting files to my memory stick, following larrylje's guide to a universal unbricker and using the program Easy Installer, and I get an error pop-up window. I have the official firmware 3.90 right now, and I'm not using Vista. The pop-up says this:

Pandora Menu (Disk Drive:G)
Blahblahblah. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.

How do I get rid of this???

Do you have a fake MS. Put it in the psp, under memstick press triangle/information. If it says magicgate unknown its a fake card and this could be your prob.

No, it says MagicGate Supported. It's real.

I thought I heard someone else having the same problem as I am, and so I thought this error would be common, but nobody seems to know the answer. :\

If you try to start or install an MS-DOS-based or a 16-bit Windows-based program on your Windows XP-based computer, you may receive an error message that is similar to one of the following:

path to the program that you are trying to start or install
C:\Winnt\System32\config.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
