Hi everyone !!

I just bought 5 Wiikey (3rd revision) for doing some mods for my family and friends... I'm used to install Cyclowiz with the switch etc... but they were BO, so I bought those... are they as good ?

Another question : if my friend has a D2C console, must I absolutely use D2Ckey for modding ? Is it supporting many games ? Can we do updates ? Am I losing my time by installing these mod ?

We all got NTSC consoles... mines with Cyclowiz (first release of WII) and working sooooo good !!!

Wiis with the D2C drive require the D2Ckey or Infectus Argon - nothing else works on them at this time. The D2Ckey doesn't need updates where I believe the Argon does. Both work well afaik. Both are very difficult installs compared with the wiikey and the D2Ckey is the hardest - and the both cost a lot more.

Game support is fine.

I would hold off on getting a D2CKey and get a D2Pro which is from the same makers. The D2Pro has 15 wires (19 for Import compatibility) where the D2CKey has 30+ wires to install. The d2pro can be updated.

The Infectus/ARGON only requires 13 wires (17 for Import compatibility). These chips can be updated.

I personally have a ARGON and like it.

It is easy to update using the Injectus programmer. It hasn't failed on any Wii games yet. Import compatibility is pretty much the same for all Modchips. The only downside at this time is Game Cube compatibility. They are working on it at this time. So that issue should be resolved very soon.
