D-Link router / Questions to me from DLink?

Hope someone can help!

I've been trying to connect to my D-Link router for ages and basicvally have hit a brick wall every time. It seems that I had to pick a router that is known to have problems connecting to PSP etc!!!

Anyway I emailed D-Link support and got the following message:

To solve your problem you need to open ports for the PSP on the DSL-G604T. To know the port numbers kindly contact the PSP support and get the ports numbers. Even assign a static IP address on the PSP in the same range of the DSL-G604T router's IP address. The IP address of the DSL-G604T is 192.168.1.1. Kindly do the following steps and revert back to us.

Can anyone help please I haven't got a scooby?!

Hi mate

Yep - tried that guide a few weeks ago - well, I say I tried it, but a lot of the settings mentioned in the guide differ to my 'wireless' router.

That's why I contacted D-Link support to basically ask them to tell me how to connect. They came back with....

yes, actually i do know what is ports. it's just funny ... psp dosent require ports to be open . Here is guide to open ports for playstation network.

I cant find one for psp (maybe cuz it dosent need one ...)
