Hi, I've seen a dvd that had like at least 6 movie on it. My question is what software can I use to shrink movies so small I can fit more than one on a dvd also I've been hearing about web sites that have free movies for download does anyone know where they are

i'm sure that what you have seen are avi files.there are programs that compress movies to avi format, usually about 700 MB, which is why you saw six movies in one disc. to mane a few, fab platinum, magic ripper, and other, some are free.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

what does avi mean and do you know where i can get the free soft ware

AVI is a container for Windows multimedia framework.

ConvertXtoDvd is a good conversion proggie.

Thank you all for the info in the link there is also a guide so i will read it to further understand about avi and how to use the app. I'm also still trying to find the free movie download sites

Try google, but understand that a majority of the "free" movie sites will put you into the pirate category. Try the P2P forum here at AD for more help.
