I just tried moving some save games from my memory card to my pen drive using AR Max. After I copied the ones I wanted i checked my memory card again and all the files were corrupted. Im using sony 8mb memory cards.

Is there a way to recover my corrupted save games? And did this ever happen with any of you guys who used AR Max?

yeah! it happens often for me too but not the likes that all of the game saves are corrupted. Alot of times its just one save file that gets corrupted and its always Tekken 5 for some reason.

Go to the Ps2 browser and check each game save. If it has ?? indicated as the file size then that game save probably cant be recovered.

yeah that also happened to me once with nfs mw, but that was ok since it was only one file. but for some reason after using ar max evo and transferring some saves to my pen drive all my saves in my mc got corrupted. because of that im affraid of using ar max again. I might try codebreaker next.

I have about 30 saves. half of them show their size which is 27kbytes and the other half shows ?? as size. And the date when they were created is all messed up in the files that dont show their size.

is there any way to place those saves in my computer and somehow fix them?

If you have a PS2 fat & a ARMAX, and an old PS1 game, you can do a memory card exploit, then you can pick what free software you want to use to backup saves to a USB flash/hard drive or an internal hard drive if you have one.

The only good use for Action Replay Max is to install this exploit onto the memory card (altough I used USB extreme to do the job)
