I have a problem. My PSP screen stopped working all of a sudden. I'd try replacing it, but I don't know for sure that it's the LCD itself because there's NO sort of picture at all. The screen doesn't even come on... at ALL.
Now one thing I did that I shouldn't have probably done was THAT i CHARGED IT USING A POWER CORD FROM SOMETHING ELSE i HAD.... NOT THE psp CHARGER. yEAH, i KNOW. DUMB. bUT i COULDN'T FIND IT AND IT DID WORK. lATER, IT WAS UNPLUGGED AND WAS WORKING FINE. i PUT IT ON STANDBY FOR A WHILE.... caps... sorry... the thing was that I had it off the charger and left it on standby in a game for some time. I turned it back on later and the sound and everything was working, but the screen wouldn't come on. I don'tknow if it was the charger or not because like I said, before it was working fine when it was on it and then I took it off the charger and it was still working.
The screen doesn't come on at all. You see the power light come on, you hear the sounds and stuff, but the screen won't come on... I fear it might be the charger but if some of you could give me some help, that'd be really great. Thanks..

Did you take the power cord off
thats what happens to me sometimes when i use a the AC adaptor
Take the power cord off? When you say that, do you mean, take it off while it was on? Well no. I've done it lots of times before and nothing happened.
OH, one more thing I forgot to mention. The cord's voltages and things are totally the same. The only difference I found was that the Output of the other one I used was 5v to 1.5A and the PSP one is 5V to 2000mA. Is that a big difference?
My PSP too have that problem...When I send it to the repair shop, they told me abt my PSP's "encoding" that have been deleted and the PSP is blocking you from using it...maybe u DL something that is illegal(well...the repairman told me that I could have DL something illegal) but I only DL 2 PSP themes and a homebrew software(PSPTube)...Man...Now I'm mad that I can't complete my GTA:LCS just because of the problem...I beseech to all the ppl reading this..If any of u know abt the problem and have the answers to it, please do not hesitate to tell the people who are suffering from this...
