I been haveing issues with my internet brower for almost a week now. I have all the latest software security products. ie norton 08, adaware, and sypbot. I have no viruses or spyware on my comp. the problem is when i open me web browser it gets an error report and closes within seconds when it is opened. this is driving me crazy and i cannot figure it out...help.

I actually was told to only have one of the tabs open instead of two when I opened the internet app. This has helped a lot but I am still getting that error and it has to close. I have run multible scans and can't find anything.

What does it say? Sounds to me like you have some sort of spyware/malware running on your comp.

I am up and working now....I am using Netscape for a browser and having no problems at all. My comp runs great but not when I use internet explorer. Does that make sense to anyone???

Try it in safe mode, if it works then it's either software issue or malware.

Get rid of Yahoo, Google toolbars or any other toolbar and try again. Not sure why you are using Norton, it's worthless as an Anti-Virus and a memory hog.
