DVD Shrink should work just fine with Vista...or are you looking for a different transcoder all together?

Sometimes with Shrink it's neccessary on Vista to run in compatability mode as the administrator. Right click the icon on the desktop select compability.

I have just changed to Vista & DVD Shrink will not download.
Box out with 'Access Denied' appears.
Can 7thsinger give more detailed information on how to run Vista in compatability mode please?

It's not always necessary to run in compatability mode. You may just have a faulty link to download from if that's where your problem lies.

Try LOCO's link...he's got the good stuff!

Maybe SP1 fixed some compatability issues with older programs. I've been using Vista for about two weeks and haven't run across anything that I used in XP that I can't use straight outta the box with Vista. *touch wood*

DVDFab
DVD Shrink
Imgburn
DVD Flick
ConvertXtoDVD
Epson Print CD (maybe this one is in compatability mode, can't remember)
CD Speed
DVDInfoPro
Azureus
WinRAR
^^^all work^^^

Have installed SP1 in Vista.
Problem is with set up.
Downloaded & saved ok but when running set up a box out stating 'Set Up' "Access Denied" appears followed by 'Error' "Set up was not completed please correct problem & run set up again"
Any idea how I correct problem?

Are you just a user on this particular pc? Is someone else registered as the administrator?

It's hard to say what's going on. You said you recently changed to Vista...did you "upgrade" (a term i'll use loosely) to Vista on a former XP system...or get a new pc all together?
