Don't know as this is how I do all my back-ups.
I've found through time to use fixvts on all backups to hdd after dvdfabhd. VobBlanker removers all objectionables (I like it so), then transcode and burn as usual.Hence all the proggies.

Isn't that a bit redundant? If you use VobBlanker to remove BS then it should also do the cleaning and FixVTS isn't needed. If you are just doing cleaning FixVTS should be sufficient enough. To each his own, I just don't understand the logic.

I may be wrong but my understanding is that fixvts corrects for all the directional/navigational pointers errors in navigation on a dvd ( copy protection/playback probs )and table of contents misdirections.Whereas vobblanker allows me to blank out vobs/cells that I do not want. I did not realize that vob blanker corrects for all the intentional navigational errors included. Please enlighten me if I am in error. Thanks

I've only used both a handful of times, but I've always been under the assumption that if one is used the other isn't needed. I've never used them in conjunction. Most of the guides I've seen recommend using either or, but I tend to use neither unless I get an error.

I use FixVts on almost every backup i do. Unless it's one of my older Dvd's. Rarely use VobBlanker.

I use neither unless I come across stringent protections that oblige me to have the need of. But in any case, FixVTS is use behind Vobblanker. That's because FixVTS fiddles with DVD files to make them more DVD compliant, so they can be unwrapped in DVDShrink. Be that as it may, I wouldn't consider them as my staple teddy bear for backing up. Just my modest opinion... :)

I use VOBB strictly to blank the shite that I don't want. Otherwise, I would just stick with AnyDVD, Shrink, and IMGburn. But unless I'm mistaken, I think Fixvts and VOBB, aside from the blanking, perform the same functions.
Back on topic, I'll be picking this up on Tuesday (also very much looking forward to it). I'll post up here how it goes for me.

Same here. Looking forward to getting this one. I'll also post back when i back this one up, as i'm doubting there will be much trouble to it.

Just picked it up today. It was successfully ripped strictly with the AnyDVD (6315) ripper. I then blanked the junk I don't want with VOBB and processed it with Shrink. No problems here!
