Playing original Xbox games and backups on flashed Hitachi-LG

I have recently flashed my Hitachi-LG drive using the USB connectivity kit and Garyopa Xtreme v 2.2-stealth. I am able to play the original 360 games, but not the original Xbox games. I have read several places about continuing to connect the kit to the PC through the molex cable. What exactly is that needed for and what can I do to play the original Xbox games?

to play the original games, all you have to do is download the update for it. i think you can get it from LIVE, or from xbox.com, burn it to a cd, and install that way. then you will be able to play most of the original xbox 1 games.

just a suggestion i downloaded the update and now my 360 boots to blue screen, posted a question on forums and no one has seem to respond so now im stuck not even playing the backed up 360 games
i wish i didnt even think about xbox 1 games.

best choice for playing your Xbox 1 games is just to buy one. That way you know there are no issues. Plus unlike the 360 it will play every game. And when softmodded it can do so many great things that the 360 can not.
