Hi does anybody have a copy of yahoo instant messenger they can send me. Had to get a new work computer and I.S. took off my instant messenger. They won't replace it and have blocked the link to download it. They just said that they are trying to faz it out. They aren't going and taking it off everyones computer just not replacing it when there is a problem. Don't use it alot, but I am going into withdrawals. I've tried downloading it at home and saving it to cd, but it didn't work for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe a co-worker can transfer the installer to you? Or if rapidshare or another file hosting site isn't blocked you could upload the installer at home and when at work download the installer.
You can also try using tinyurl. Depending on how they're blocking the site, you might be able to get around it.
Just a note, if you don't have administrative rights to install software, then even if you get the installation files, you still won't be able to install it.

If you saved it to disk, copied it to the comp, and tried installing, and it failed, then you can't do it.
Your only hope is, fine the program files, copy them, then just run it like that.
