How do I make sure I hardmodded right?

I tried to hard mod my battery into pandora.
I haven't created the MMS yet because i want to make sure I modded correctly.

How can I tell if I have done it right?
With the memory stick in, all 3 lights are on. They don't blink or anything
they just stay solid and the psp turns off after 20 secs.

With the memory stick out, only the power light is lit and the only way I can turn off the PSP is by removing the battery.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am completely new at this and bought my PSP only a week ago.

You have modded it correctly. the little green power light will be the only thing that comes on when you have made a pandora's battery. (memory stick out of cource) :)
