So this is how it goes.
I ve updated my new PSP (Last one was dead) to 3.90 M33 firmware.
I used the same 4 gb memory card that i had from the previous PSP which had 2 games inside and EXACTLY the same firmware.
So i ve got the PSP this afternoon and i ve tried an ISO (I ve put it in the /PSP/GAME folder)game from the PSP card menu and it played just fine .
Then i ve tried a "Poker game" i ve put in my last PSP which was an "Eboot.PBP" file and it played flawlessly.
But i didnt like it!
So i ve decide to delete it from the PSP Memory stick menu.
I ve selected "delete" then pressed "OK" and it was obviously gone.
Now here comes the wierd part.
I ve closed my PSP.
After 10 minutes i ve opened it again and i went to the Memory Stick menu to play again the ISO game. It was there and everything seemed to work fine.
I ve pressed "X" and then the PSP logo came out which means that the game was actually recognized and started loading.
But after the logo disapeared the PSP came with a message :

The game could not be started. (80010002)

:S

So i thought that deletion of "Poker game" was a bad idea because PSP might have deleted the EBOOT.PBP file which i cant remember in which folder i ve put it and now is missing.

I ve formatted the memory card from the PSP menu , put the ISO game again in the /PSP/GAME folder via USB from my PC but when i enter the Memory Stick menu it now says that "There are no games."

I still have the EBOOT.PBP file from the "Poker game" in my PC but i dont know where to put it.

Does anyone know if the deletion of this game has anything to do with this problem?

Thanx in advance.

Ok LeadBaron ...the ISO game has been recognized.

But i now get the same error message but with (80020321) this time.

Ok i read from another thread that there must be a umd inside.
I ve pput Tekken Umd and back to memory stick menu and everything was ok.

Seems the "problem" is solved. Ty. ;)
But from now on if i want to play the ISO game i should get in Tekken first and then back to menu?
Is there any way to avoid this and play it directly from the menu or with no UMD inside?

Once you're in the XMB, insert the UMD and then play the .iso game :)

If you want to play .iso games without the need of a UMD then,
Enter the recovery mode of your PSP :)

To access recovery mode follow the following steps :-
1. Completely shut down your PSP (Not stand-by)
2. Hold the "R" button (i.e right trigger) while starting your PSP ^_^
3. You are now on recovery mode
It should look something like THIS

Then, go to "Configuration" and then in "UMD mode" switch to "Sony np9660" :)
And then go back and the go to "Advanced -> Advanced Configuration" and "Disable" everything there :)
