Hello, my set top box can play divx, so it's mostly xvid/divx I deal
with. However, I've a bunch of mpeg 1 (352/240) that I would like
to put on a DVD. I'd like to do it without reencoding them, if it's possible.
I guess what I'd like is to be able to author a VCD, but on a DVD.
Is it possible ? Any other solutions?
Regarding whether my player supports mpeg 1/2,
I presume you mean when the files are just written as data?
I tried it with mpeg 1 before and it's seems like it supports it,
but when they're played the picture is just a small square in the middle
of the TV. - So not sure, but I'll look into it some more.
Yes, that's what I meant, as data. If it did, you could extract the MPEG from the dat file with IsoBuster, or convert the dat to MPEG with VCDGear and burn a data disc.
