HD Loader Clarification-

Hey there guys. I just wanted to clarify something.

I have both a modded and an unmodded PS2.
If I use the unmodded PS2 to install the memory card exploit onto a memory card, will I be able to run HD Loader on the unmodded PS2 with no further modification of it?

Yes.

For the memory card exploit, I would suggest uLaunchElf v4.12 found here.

For redundancy's sake (and to anyone reading this), HD Loader can be found here.

Both need to be installed on your memory card (which sucks if you're using the 8MB Sony one that came with the system, but you'll be able to back up saves on your flash drive with uLaunchElf).

Question -

Do you need an original or pressed HDLoader Disc or something? Or will you be able to simply run it from your original PSX game?

You just run the exploit off of the PS1 game. As in, you put in the game, and the PS2 runs uLaunchElf. From there, you can run HD Loader.
